The front tires on rather much any automobile do most of the braking. Typically is about 2/three on the front and one/3 on the back. Just make positive your tires get rotated and youll be fine. The turning has a significantly greater effect then the brakes on tire put on.

Your front tires wear faster. More weight on them and they drive the vehicle. Right front will wear out first UNLESS you rotate the tires every 5000 miles

It has nothing to do with it being front wheel drive.
The front brakes are more affected than the rear, because the momentum of the car is traveling forward when you brake.
If you were going in reverse, it would be your back brakes.
