That’s good you desire a ’06 Wrangler: better engine. The JK has had numerous recalls and I spoke to a ChryCo. salesman and he said he was sad to to see the 4.0L go away and to have the Wrangler change for the cheesy image it now has.

I go by slant6guy because I drive a summer vehicle that has that engine: Reliable, easy to work on and goes 4ever = just like the 4.0L six as opposed to the minivan V6 the new JKs have. Take care and I hope you get the last of the real Wranglers
