Here’s a great video from a show called PinnedTV that’s a breakdown of the truck you see here, by Becca’s co-driver/spotter.
She is a great driver, Just Google some “Becca Webster”
nice fucking truck. and one hell of a skilled driver.
First of all it’s a SHE. Her name is Becca Webster and I’ve seen her climb hills that a mountain goat would think twice about. It’s not so boring if you understand what’s happening. The competetion requires the team to navigate a very tight course marked with cones in a time limit. There are penalties for reversing so she uses levers to brake individual wheels and throttle to turn the crawler and point her in the right direction. When you think about all that’s happening, it’s pretty cool!
boring as hell. 5 minutes and he travelled like 20 feet.
It’s advertising for the industrial revolution; iron, petrolium, the automobile, and “better living through chemistry”.
nice teamwork!
I’m impressed
stop the madness leave the 4×4′s alone
GREAT!!!! Is there a website that shows what these trucks are worth:>?
what wheelbase is that
pretty good. i would have to say though that some of our aussie trucks could beat it. sorry guys.
wow
Right on…we’ll be back out there for the Pro Rock finals Sept 22 and 23 and then again for the Women’s Nationals on Nov 10 and 11.
As for the yelling at that event, we had some pretty big issues that weekend and I had to yell to get her to pay attention to what I was saying…she admitted she was more worried about what was wrong with the crawler then she was about paying attention to me. LOL Lets just say we’re BOTH working on those issues
Thanks again for posting the videos!
Well I was stoked to be there, my first crawler event was a blast. Because of you and your wife and the other competitors I will be back every time I can. I noticed something different about you two as a team. Your on-foot spotter efforts to help her make her way made a big difference in my opinion. While other teammates would just stand around pointing you were getting much more involved even if you did yell allot, lol. I saw your other comment too and thank you for that too

I’m stoked to see the video! Becca drives the new Red Bull RockHer so well and makes it do stuff I still cannot believe! This obstacle was tough to swallow as we were so close to completing it…seeing it on video taught us a ton.
You can see the front end isn’t working…at 4:20, you see how bad it is slipping so I’m surprised we made it as far as we did!
THANKS FOR POSTING!
