  • dirtbikerida55:

This video was shot about 8 miles east of exit 8 on I-95-This was a totaly easy mud hole- Up in your area every stream in the area is flooded now. If you want a challenge just follow one of the flooded stream beds. Be careful you could lose your quad in a hole. Thats why I own a max, if the bottom falls out it will float and swim. Check out some of my other videos if you want to see some real challenges.

where yall at in south carolina im in sumter and ive been lookin for a good place to ride to see if i can get my 4wheeler stuck lol ive had no luck yet but ive neevr done any boggin with it either its just been the simple big rain mud tho some of it has been a lil bad the tires have never even spun

  • wildtexasranger:

I,m sure that neither the Argo or Max will ever come with a shaft drive because it weighs a lot more than a chain system , and this adds up to a lot more weight in the mud .The lighter the amphibious machine is , the more capable it is in all mud and muddy water conditions. Even with exellent mud tires , the added weight of a shaft drive system , plus the total weight of the machine plus driver ,will just get you stuck more often . You want an amphibious machine to be as light as possible.

  • LEHMAPOISS:

it seems that that atv wont never get stuck!Cool atv

  • AgentHog:

  • dedwards8708:

They are built in Buffalo N.Y., It’s called a Max and it’s built by Recreative industries

  • robbinam89:

dude were the fuck did u get that thing?

    what… the army?
    i’am jellus i have a muoil. 4×4

  • dedwards8708:

whoooaa! That is awsome. If you talk with Matt at R.I. he can steer you in the right direction for gearing and clutching that will work with your application. I am sure that baby is gonna be fast!!!!!

  • nelson1100:

Nice,I have one with the 20 hp Kholer. I swapped the 26 inch tires for rhino 25 inch tires, better ride. Now i’m bored with the 4 stroke and will put in a kawi 750 tripple 2 stroke from a wrecked 72 :) .

  • dedwards8708:

No suspension. You can get them with tracks but you generally don’t need them. Tracks are good for the kind of mud you can’t walk in,but they have there other limitations. Tracks are best left for the snow. If your running in the swamp you need a good agressive tire that can swim!

  • mainebrute:

kool u can buy them with tracks and stuf right and how fast do they go and do they have suspinoson

  • dedwards8708:

About 11,500 new but I have added several things to this machine that brings that price way up. I shopped around for one of these machines for a long time before I just went a head a bought a new one.

  • otsf149:

that thing is sweet. i didn’t even know they existed until i saw drew carrey give one away on “the price is right”. how much did yours cost?

  • Muddcrazy:

I’ll buy one if they evere make a shaft drive version.

  • antiflag630:

it was kinda hard we were in a huge mud bog in the middle of no where

  • dedwards8708:

Your guide should have pulled that machine over and adjusted the chain on the spot! only takes 5 minutes. I am sure he didn’t know what he was doing and didsn’t care or he would have never driven a max witha loose chain!

  • dedwards8708:

I am sure that the maintence wasn’t done and it didn’t recieve the kind of personnal care that mine does. This is what I know, it will go anywhere and leaves everything else behind. Every machine has it’s own sounds, no matter what-those are things you live with no matter what kind of machine it is!

  • antiflag630:

i used one of those when i was in canada on a moose hunt, i thought it was shit, the chain kept comming on teh gear, and it soulnded like shit

  • CoryClark13:

    cool

  • bfarmer7:

    argos are way better
